The ceramic particles are coated with a maximum of unevenness, providing excellent hardness (durability) and heat resistance (over 400°C). This creates a moderate gap between the pan and the food, preventing sticking. It also prevents the accumulation of oils, grease, and moisture from the food, preventing burning (carbonization) *2 by exposing the food to air, resulting in a beautiful browned surface and a crispy, crunchy texture.

*2 Burning occurs when food carbonizes under high temperatures and a lack of oxygen. The uneven embossing ensures constant contact with oxygen, preventing burning.
This product uses the same material as our MAESTRO triple-layer clad steel series. It's induction-compatible, 2.3mm thick, and boasts excellent thermal conductivity and heat retention. After adding ingredients to a pot on a medium or lower heat setting, the heat is transferred quickly to the ingredients, preventing sticking and maintaining the right temperature. Simply stir the ingredients gently without shaking the pot. The synergistic effect with the Super Ceramic Coating ensures a crispy, crunchy exterior and a juicy, flavor-locked interior, resulting in the perfect final product. This is the ideal base material for the Super Ceramic Coating.

Stir-frying in a frying pan is prone to sticking and burning. For this reason, lighter pans are preferred so that you can constantly shake the pan to prevent it from sticking. Thin pans are certainly easier to shake, but they are more likely to stick and burn. This is because they lack heat storage capacity and are unable to maintain the right temperature after adding ingredients, causing them to stick together, or because the heat is turned up high and the temperature rises suddenly, causing the ingredients to burn.
For this reason, a lot of oil is used*4 to prevent sticking, but with a normal flat pan surface, oil, grease, and moisture can accumulate between the pan and the food, resulting in a soggy finish and even causing burning (carbonization)*2. On the other hand, as shown in the illustration, the combination of the embossed Super Ceramic Coating with its highly uneven surface and the triple-layered steel clad base material is heavy, but by simply preheating and stirring the food gently over medium heat throughout the cooking process, not only does it prevent sticking and burning, but also prevents the accumulation of oil, resulting in a deliciously crispy surface and perfectly locking in the flavor inside. The base material's excellent thermal conductivity and heat retention maintain the perfect temperature throughout the cooking process, resulting in a deliciously juicy finish.
These features make it a versatile cooking tool that can be used for steaming, stewing, and cooking with a glass lid, and can also be used for steaming dishes using the steam plate (see the recipes included in the set package).

Food that has been heated and thermally denatured has a tendency to stick to metal, which is inherently hydrophilic. For this reason, applying oil and forming a film between the food and the pot (metal) prevents sticking. The Super Ceramic Coating's nonstick properties can be further improved by adding an appropriate amount of oil, but the embossed texture means that the surface is crispy and crunchy without becoming soggy, while the inside remains juicy. Furthermore, food does not remain in the texture, so with simple care it can be kept in like-new condition for a long time. (If food remains in the texture and becomes burnt and carbonized, it becomes more likely to stick.) *5

Because it has excellent cold resistance, the rubber properties are maintained and it will not harden or crack even when stored in a freezer or refrigerator at -40°C.
Furthermore, compared to general organic rubber, it has excellent heat resistance, and (although this differs depending on the silicone rubber formulation and conditions of use) it is a material that can generally be used at high temperatures up to approximately 260°C.
Because it has excellent release properties, ingredients do not stick easily, making it an easy material to handle during cooking.
