● Stepped corners (to prevent items from getting stuck when stacked)
The corners are stepped to prevent items from getting stuck and becoming difficult to remove when stacked.

Electrolytic polishing can prevent darkening even when stocking white creamy ingredients.
Physical polishing involves cutting, abrading, and deforming the metal surface to make it smooth, while electrolytic polishing is done electrochemically.
Both polishing methods result in a smooth surface, but when the surface is observed under an electron microscope, the unevenness of physical polishing is only a few μm (micrometer, 1/1000 of 1 mm), while that of electrolytic polishing is several tens of μm, several dozen times larger.
This moderately sized unevenness makes it less likely to leave residue and makes the surface less susceptible to dirt. (Think of electrolytic polishing as having larger, smoother unevenness.)
